United Methodist Men

United Methodist Men offers a number of opportunities to be involved in the life of the church.  We are actively participating with other ministries to help with needs in our community and to offer men an opportunity to come together to help each other grow in Christ. 3rd  Saturday Men’s Breakfasts

At these Breakfasts we gather at 8 am or so, have breakfast at 8:30, and have a speaker or other program at 9 am until 10 am.  We try to stop very close to 10 so people can move along with the rest of their day.  Located in the dining hall in the basement. There is no charge!

Saturday Morning Bible Study

Are you looking for a place to study God’s word, fellowship with other men, and share practical biblical insights? Challenge and encourage your spiritual growth through an authentic relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. You are most welcome to join us. This is a small group bible study for men of all ages. We meet every Saturday morning at Park Avenue church (except for the Saturday of the Men’s Breakfast). Gather for fellowship about 8:15 AM; our study begins promptly at 8:30 and ends at 10 o’clock.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast

Meets every Wednesday morning in the Dining Room on lower level from 6:30 am until we close promptly at 7:30 am.  We share a breakfast of pastry, toast/bagels, cold cereal, and coffee until 7 am then pray for one another’s prayer concerns and the prayer requests of the congregation. Open to all!

Some of the other events we have been involved with have been coming alongside the Children’s Ministries for a bowling party, helping with church clean up/work days, helping with Church Picnics, and mini golf.

An assortment of Men and occasional woman have also been involved in distribution of bibles and individual praying on Hennepin Avenue, in conjunction with the Evangelism Commission.

Please come and join us to “help men grow in Christ, so others may know Christ.”
