Experience what makes
Park Avenue United Methodist Church

We invite you to join us for worship each and every Sunday at 10am on the corner of 34th Street and Park Avenue in Minneapolis. There is also a smaller, more intimate congregation-led gathering in the Sanctuary at 8am.

Our church has been on the corner of 34th Street and Park Avenue (address & directions here) in South Minneapolis for over 100 years, and we’d love for you to be a part of the next 100!

Wednesday Night PUSH!
Let’s get together more than once a week! Our Wednesday Night PUSH offerings a variety of activities for all ages.  Stop in for prayer at 6:3pm, or visit Cornerstone – our dollar thrift store. Attend the 6:30pm Adult Bible Study (description below!)  – childcare is available for young ones and older kids can join Club PUSH. Youth meet upstairs for fun & fellowship in the Youth Room and the Glory Be kids choir rehearses. There’s something for everyone!

Join us on Wednesday for our Bible Study on Healing, led by Minister of Congregational Care Linda Tate. Learn why we all need healing, how to see God’s healing activity, how to walk alongside those in need as part of our responsibility to be God’s healing vessel, and recognizing we serve a God who IS a healer. Begins Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 6:30pm in the Gathering Room. Childcare is available. Bible Study concludes on October 23 … attend as many as you are able.

To better understand the current and proposed positions of the United Methodist Church on homosexuality and sexual identity, and its relevance to our church, there will be Wednesday evening and Sunday morning sessions held as we learn more about the traditionalist and progressive positions and understand our differences through the “Wesley quadrilateral” – the Methodist lens of scripture, tradition, reason, and experience.
