The Park Avenue Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Rev. Gregg Taylor as Senior Pastor to Park Avenue UMC as of May 1, 2020.

Pastor Taylor brings giftedness and experience in pastoral leadership, urban ministry, organizational development, and community building, developed through more than 30 years leading Methodist churches, campus ministries and faith-based non-profits, with a special emphasis on ministering to marginalized communities.

Among his passions for ministry, Pastor Taylor listed “cultivating an inclusive multi-cultural, multi-generational community of such compassion, grace and hospitality that anyone touched by it experiences what it’s like to be loved, and even learns to accept their own belovedness.”

Pastor Taylor, his wife Amy, and their two youngest children will be moving to Minnesota from Houston, TX.
