Community Crisis Response

In the wake of the ICE surge in Minneapolis, including the raid near our church on January 13, 2026, Park Avenue UMC responded in various ways to the needs of our congregation and neighbors. We established a designated fund, which began following the killing of Renee Good on January 7, 2026, and raised $77,000 in support. We are grateful to everyone who gave so generously! Friends, I want to be honest with you because I trust you. Our giving is about where it was last year, but our ministry has grown and we committed to a larger budget for 2026 because of it. As of October 1st, our budgeted giving shortfall has increased to $57,000. And we must make up this difference in our monthly giving.
