As I’m sure you’re aware, Christmas Eve falls on a Saturday, and Christmas Day on Sunday. Here are the details for the services. I hope you can join us and bring along family and friends!
Christmas Eve, 5 p.m.
An hour-long service of carols, candle lighting, and stories. Invite friends and bring the kids or grandkids. Children’s Minister Annie Taylor will offer some fun new ways for kids to enjoy the service. Also, we’ll close the service with our traditional key-jingling and singing Jingle Bells.
Christmas Day, 10 a.m.
A special 45-minute casual and kid-friendly service. Feel free to come in your Christmas jammies (if that’s your thing) or comfy Christmas sweaters. We’ll follow the service with coffee, cocoa, and donuts for folks who want to hang around to wish one another Merry Christmas.
Don’t forget the Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 18 at 4 p.m. Continuing with our theme, What Christmas Means to Me, come celebrate with our Gospel Choir and Music Ministry under the direction of Jevetta Steele and Martial Besombes. Also, a number of special guests will add their voices to a very special Christmas event.
And just a note to let you know where we stand on our Estimated Giving for 2023. The budget is set according to what we as a congregation are willing to give. Our Estimated Giving provides that valuable guidance. As of today, we are 89% toward the estimated giving goal for 2023. So, our finance team has started the process of cutting program costs in the proposed budget to align with giving estimates. If you would still like to estimate your giving for 2023, you can do that quickly by clicking here.
Hope to see you this Sunday. It’s fun to meet folks I haven’t met before! If you’ve been watching online, why not join us? Come experience the goodness of Park in person, and I’d love to greet you face to face.
Breathe love, my friends!
