Currently, Park Avenue UMC is supporting—financially and in prayer—missionary families and individuals throughout the world.

We also provide financial and volunteer support to programs helping those experiencing homelessness, our urban neighborhood, youth programming, food distribution, United Methodist Committee on Relief disaster efforts, and many others as needs arise.

If you have an interest or passion in this area, there is always a need and a way to work together.

The Children’s Council provides ministry direction, and programing oversight for the spiritual formation of our children crawlers – 5th grade.

The Youth Council is made up of youth and adults who review, plan, and give advisory support into youth programming and activities for 6th-12th graders.

This Congregational Care group meets to review the needs within our church community and implement ways we can address them effectively and with intentionality.

United Methodist Women (UMW) is part of the larger Minnesota Conference of the UMC. At Park Avenue UMC, UMW lay leaders coordinate and foster spiritual development for women through Bible studies and fellowship opportunities. We actively participate alongside other ministries to help with needs in our community (e.g., help with church work days, youth events, care ministries, etc.).
