Okay, we’ve been talking about this for a few weeks. Now, it’s here.
Sunday Funday is THIS Sunday, September 8. And from what the weather people say, it looks like it will be a fantastic day!
There will be music, games, food, and information tables where you’ll have plenty of opportunities to discover your place of belonging at Park this fall. Plus, you’ll get to get to know folks here at Park. And that’s a very good thing!
So, join us for a shorter worship service at 10 a.m. and a parking lot party afterward. And, by the way, I’ve been instructed to give a 10-minute sermon. I’ll see what I can do.
Some folks have asked how they can help. Let me give you things you can help with.
Thing 1: You can help fill out our grill menu (hot dogs + vegetarian option) with some tasty sides, salads, desserts, or beverages you’d be willing to share. We know carrying dishes can be challenging when parking is an issue, so we’ll have an easy way to drop off your goodies beforehand if you need to.
Thing 2: After the party, we always need help taking down tables and putting up chairs. If you’d like to stay for a few minutes, we could use your assistance.
Can’t wait to see you Sunday!
