Welcome Patience Mutize

By October 14, 2022No Comments

Many of you know that after years of faithful service to Park, our bookkeeper Nancy Birth has retired. She and Steve are on the road, spending much-needed time with their grandkids. I am filled with gratitude for Nancy’s marathon-like commitment over the years.

Nancy’s retirement led us to search for a gifted and talented person to join our team as Park’s new bookkeeper. I’m pleased to let you know that we have found her. She was already part of us — a member of our church!

Patience Mutize

Patience Mutize brings years of accounting, financial management, consulting, and information technology experience to our church. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, and finance in 2001 from Shenandoah University in Virginia and is working on completing her MBA from Strayer University. Please join me in giving Patience a warm Park welcome! We’re glad you’re here, Patience!

And just a reminder: We need your help. On Wednesday I sent an email asking for your help with a survey about Christmas worship services at Park.

Every few years, Christmas Day lands on a Sunday. This is one of those years.

Wanting to be sensitive to the needs and plans of families, church staff, and volunteers while also recognizing the significance of worshiping together during the Christmas holiday, I’d like to ask for your input as we plan for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services at Park.

If you haven’t already done so, would you mind taking just a few seconds to tell us which in-person Christmas service(s) you would (or would not) attend? Just click here to complete the survey. And thanks for helping out!

Looking forward to seeing you in worship on Sunday. If you’ve been watching online, come feel the Park vibe in person!

Breathe love, my friends!
