Whole pie, half pie?

By November 9, 2023No Comments

So … what are you doing on Thanksgiving Eve? Any plans? How about a little Thanksgiving pie get-together at the church? Join your Park friends on Wednesday, November 22, at 6:30 in the Gathering Room. Following a brief time of giving thanks, we’ll dig into what I envision to be a smorgasbord of pies.

If you’re a baker (or shopper), bring a whole pie, a half pie, choices we can’t deny. Pumpkin, pecan, strawberry, or chocolate, don’t be shy.

Yeah, you’re right. That’s a little hokey. Chocolate is my favorite, by the way. Chocolate cream, to be more specific. 🙂

This would also be a great opportunity to invite a neighbor or friend. Family in town? Bring them along! If you don’t want to bring a pie, just bring the most important thing — yourself.

And just a reminder. If you missed my letter last week about estimating our giving for 2024, you can read it by clicking here. The Finance Team is asking each of us to turn in our estimated giving by November 19. This is a big help for determining next year’s budget and allows our church to plan for ongoing and new ministries in the coming year. You can do that quickly online here. Thank you!

May you see God’s grace in a deep way this week.

Much love,

Pastor Gregg
